its very climate, Have you notice that have some japanese vibes on some parts?,
In the last parts it gets like an action sequence song, My feel its like is more like some people watching something astonishing, in this case the world ending as you described.

The vibes are intentional, I wanted to give it a global feel, so I used a lot of different styles of instrumentation. Indeed, most of it is about people witnessing the astonishing destruction, feelings of despair and loss, and the end is an attempt by the same people to escape their doom, which ends brutally.

I think is nice build up with the voice into the main theme, I think its kinda obvius how this song is gonna turn out, if you can maybe pull out a non standard thingie in there it will take all us by surprise.
